Nice station, easy to find the platform and where to buy a ticket.
The only negative aspect, as a tourist I was not able to see any sign in the street to be able to reach this station without my phone navigating me into it.
Really cool and easy to use the funicolare. Takes you to the top and a 10 minute walk from Castel Sant'Elmo. Tickets can be purchased at a machine or a person. Very easy to use and it comes every 10 minutes.
Short ride with funicolare to Castel Sant' Elmo and belvedere San Martino with great views on Naples and Vesuv in background. Cost 1.10 € per direction
There is a cable bus system that can travel from Montesanto in Naples to Via Morghen in 6 minutes. Via Morghen is located near Piatsa Vanvitelli. Even when there is no traffic on the highway, it will take at least half an hour to travel in a normal car.
Easy way to get to the castle and the area of vomero,very cheap fares
Unfortunately doesn’t work today because of the srtike. No official information.
But the next day it worked.
Perfect way to reach vomero in a few minutes. Ticket is 1.10 one way. You can get then from TABACCHI
